    Scope of Work

    Objectives and Deliverables:

    1. Meeting Coordination:

      • Organize and schedule meetings, including agenda preparation, participant coordination, and minute-taking.

      • Manage logistics for virtual and in-person meetings, ensuring efficient communication and follow-up.

    2. Relationship Management:

      • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and organizational members.

      • Act as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring timely and effective communication.

    3. Conference Planning and Execution:

      • Coordinate planning and execution of conferences and events, including vendor coordination, venue booking, registration management, and on-site support.

      • Contribute to developing conference materials, including agendas, promotional content, and attendee information.

    4. Information Gathering and Dissemination:

      • Coordinate alliance efforts to gather information on health and wellness initiatives relevant to the fire service and allied professions.

      • Disseminate findings, reports, and relevant resources to alliance members and partners through newsletters, websites, and social media platforms.

    5. Administrative Support:

      • Provide general administrative support, including document preparation, correspondence management, and database maintenance.

      • Support the leadership team with special projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.

    Timeline: 1-year contract with potential renewal based on funding

    We seek an independent consultant with experience in social media management and content development and a passion for public health and wellness, particularly in the fire service and allied professions.

    This role focuses on content creation, social media strategy, and community engagement to raise awareness about our health and wellness initiatives.

    Scope of Work and Deliverables:

    1.   Content Creation:

    o    Develop engaging and relevant social media content to promote events, initiatives, and organizational updates, including graphics, videos, and written posts.

    o    Create a consistent posting schedule to maintain an active presence across social media platforms.

    2.   Social Media Management:

    o    Manage the organization’s social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram), regularly updating them with fresh content.

    o    Monitor social media activity, promptly respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers to foster a supportive online community.

    3.   Strategy Development:

    o    Assist in developing and implementing a social media strategy that aligns with organizational goals and promotes Science to the Station’s mission and initiatives.

    o    Analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.

    4.    Collaboration and Promotion:

    o    Work closely with team members and external partners to promote events, conferences, and collaborative efforts through social media channels.

    o    Ensure that social media content reflects the organization's voice and is consistent with branding and messaging guidelines.

    5.    Trends and Innovation:

    o    Familiar with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve engagement and reach.

    o    Suggest and implement new ideas to enhance the visibility and impact of our social media efforts.
